Trina Bardusco is American-Venezuelan and a New Yorker. She's the executive producer and casting director of the on-going series "Habla" for HBO Latino and the director of "Making Habla" and of "Habla Más en Chicago," two parallel documentaries about Latinos living in the U.S. Trina produces three branded web series on Yahoo en español: she's the producer and co-host of Café con Tacones, a weekly shot of news, opinion and fun featuring Latina personalities experts and celebrities in a round table discussion setting. She's also the writer, producer and director of Casi Perfecta, a comedy about a Latina who moves to the U.S. with her mother-in-law in tow and is the executive producer of De Moda, highlighting the hottest fashion and beauty trends in television, film and music. She won a Fulbright Scholarship (1999-2000) to travel to Spain and research her project: "Flamenco's Duende and Deep Song." Her first documentary "I'm the Tourist: The Gypsy Song of Luis Agujeta," is distributed by Discmedi (Barcelona, 2007). She is currently developing a new documentary series in Spain about flamenco " In Search of Duende."

Alberto Ferreras is a New York based writer and filmmaker, author of the award-winning novel "B as in Beauty,” creator and director of the "Habla" series  for HBO Latino, co-creator of the HBO Family animated series "El Perro y el Gato," and writer and director of the web-series "Madres y Comadres" for Kmart. His work on film has been presented at the Berlin Film Festival and the British Film Institute. He has directed ad campaigns for Walgreens, Verizon Wireless, Wise, HBO, HBO Latino, V-me, and he has worked as media consultant for MTV, Nickelodeon, HBO, the Meredith Corporation, Sesame Workshop, Cris Morena Group, Source Communications, Animus Group, the Joe Torre Foundation, and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, among others. He has been a guest speaker at the Smithsonian Latino Center, Dartmouth College, Wellesley College, NALIP, The Brooklyn Book Festival, and El Barrio Museum in New York City. Before joining Latino Media Works, Ferreras was Executive Producer at HBO Creative Services and Creative Director at V-Me.
